Everyone needs a set of terms and conditions, the circumstances under which any engagement with me proceeds.

This is not a travel agency.

Through extensive experience I have developed significant knowledge, and I offer my personal services as a consultant to help you get the most out of your miles.

I don't sell travel.  I don't get a commission from airlines or hotels.  And I don't take responsibility for airlines that I help you book operating as scheduled -- if Turkish Airlines swaps out an Airbus for their Boeing 777, that's beyond my control.  Likewise if Thai Airways changes out their 2002 Dom Perignon for Bollinger, I cannot be liable for that.

On the other hand, if there's a signfiicant schedule change I will do my best to provide further assistance at no additional cost.  But if you decide to cancel your itinerary after ticketing, I'll advise you about the best way to get your miles back (this is usually - but not always! - an option).  Just because you decide not to take the trip that we develop together and that I book for you, does not mean that I will offer you a refund.

My time is expensive and I've been told several times that I am giving away my time and talents too cheaply.  My expertise has been accumulated over many years, and I can help you to book airline tickets that would cost you many many thousands of dollars.  And frankly I'm a well paid professional, my rate for this service doesn't nearly equate to my salary converted to an hourly rate (let alone what I ought to charge as a consultant).

Under no circumstance will I be liable to any cost or damage in excess of actual fees paid.

Serious inquiries only, please.  Booking award travel is not like ringing up a travel agent for a quote.  Coming up with available award seats takes significant research and work as well as customized strategies. If we find travel that meets your requirements, then it’s normal and customary to pay the fee for that work.
